Uliana Zhdanov is a Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapist
and Registered Acupuncturist (Reg.Ac.) licensed under CMAAC, the regulating body for Nova Scotia.
She have experience working with mental and physical health issues using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
TCM is an ancient and traditional way to heal the body and the mind. It draws upon knowledge gained over thousands of years of study and application. TCM encompasses many different techniques
Acupuncture is a complementary medical practice that entails stimulating certain
points on the body, most often with a needle penetrating the skin, to alleviate pain or to help treat various
health conditions.
Acupuncture treatment stimulates the body’s own healing abilities by working on multiple levels. It activates
blood flow, stimulates the nervous system, strengthens the immune system, improves organ function, calms
the mind, and relaxes the body, all at the same time.
